Both the kids got these balloon animals on a stick. Noah would shake it around like a crazy man and just giggle. It was cute. Great entertainment for a 1 yr old who can't see what's going on in the circus.

The Circus/tantrum

We took the kids to the circus last night which was tons of fun. A little long for kids to sit on bleachers for 2 hours, but Mady loved the animals, especially the elephants. One of the performers even fell. The little guys that flip around on the sashes? If anyone knows what I'm talking about... anyhow... he fell from the top all the way to the ground; the cable broke. The ambulance even came. Kind of scary. Afterwards we took the kids out for pizza. It was a fun night. That fun night also came with a fit from Mady. Why is that? I swear this child is difficult. My mom is probably thinking that I'm just getting whats coming to me because of how I was. But seriously, you know how you've seen someone in public that their kids are throwing huge fits, kicking, pointing and screaming at their parents and all you can do is think..."if that were my child I would beat them" (only not really...just an example :) ) Well that is now MY child. She was doing all those things. I even took her down where she couldn't see the circus and talked to her, she apologized and as soon as we get back up there she does it all over again. Quite frankly she just wants to do what she wants and doesn't want to listen. And she won't! I am open to any parenting suggestions because I feel at a loss. She does time-outs at home and is taught manners. We've tried to do what we know, but someone must know more because most of our friends children don't act that way. Hmm.... other then that she is a very fun kid and has a cute personality. But man is she high strung and hot tempered. I don't know where she gets it......?

Mady LOVES Noah (now)

Recently Mady has decided that she loves Noah and wants him to do whatever she says. As most of you know this is a big change for her, as she didn't like him for quite awhile. It's fun to see them, but that poor little boy...she wants to hold him and she's constantly telling him, "Noah, no no! You come here Noah!" Then she'll come tattle on him. Oh the joys! At least their close enough in age to play together well, but they fight together just as well. I never thought and 3 and 1 they would do the yet. But Noah doesn't take anything sitting down, he's a fighter. Mady just cries!! Drama, drama. Girls and boys are just what everyone said! But they sure are cute anyways!

Birthday Boy

So I'm so greatful that there are people smarter then me out there! Because if there wasn't, I would never have found out that my memory card can go in my computer! yea! Well this was our little mans birthday party. He sure loved that cake; he even wanted to share with everyone. I think we all get a taste off his hands! And he will not get off his Lightning McQeen Car (unless his sister pushes him off, which is another story!)

My Little Man's Birthday!

So today was Noah's birthday! My little man is 1 year old; I still can't believe it. We are still doing a party on the 20th, but we couldn't let tonight go unnoticed. Adam had the day off, so we took the kids to lunch. Then tonight we had dinner and Noah got is cake and a couple presents. He devoured the cake!!! He was so excited. I just can't help think about 1 year ago today. It was just such an amazing day. The delivery was so fast that before we had time to think we were holding our little boy. He was just awesome and has been so fun. This little boy has so much personality and is so smart. He understands so much and can follow directions, not that he always listens, but he can! Anyhow... my monster child was playing with the cord to load my pictures and me and adam have turned the house upside down with no luck. So in the morning I will check their bedrooms and try to post them tomorrow!!

Discovering blogging!

So we are trying to enter the new world of blogging! Be patient with me as I figure this out. ha ha!! it may take awhile. Anyhow... we are doing good. We are preparing for a joint birthday party on the June 20. We have a little boy that will be 1 tomorrow and a little girl that will be 3 on the 20th. The kids are getting big and learning so much. Mady is doing very well with speech and will do pre-school in the fall. Noah is pretty much running around the house after her and we must say, he is quite the monster. He is all boy; that is the only way to explain him! He hangs on the oven until it falls open! Crazy! But they're so much fun!
