An Update....

Well we have been pretty busy the last couple weeks, but it has been fun. First our friends Chant & Kara were up from Missouri and it was a lot of fun to see them! They have 2 kids the same age as ours, and 1 that is a year older so it is wild and crazy in our house and we've really missed that! They are fun. We can't wait until they move closer!
Daddy's and their boys! (It's so shocking how much the little boys look like the big boys!)

Ainsley is such a doll, she doesn't have them on, but her new glasses are so cute!

Chant and Kara with all the kids, (minus Porter, he was tuckered out & Ainsley's got her glasses on!)

So I'm working on picking out outfits for the kids pictures, but I think I need to work more on Mady's cheesy smile! She cannot figure out how to smile normal, she's always cheesin it up.

I think this is the first time we got Noah his own ice cream cone. I would have to say he enjoyed it... A LOT; he was a disaster.

Overall we've had a good Labor Day Weekend. We went out to dinner Friday night with Adam's sister and brother-in-law and all the kids at Garcia's, we even told them it was his birthday and they sang to him he got to wear the big sombrero! ha ha! It was funny. Then they came over saturday and he brought his new smoker and we did ribs, they were AWESOME! I should have recorded every one's sounds; one after the other it was like..."ooh" "aaahh" "that is so good" "yum" "oooh, yeah" but it probably wouldn't have sounded good. ;) We played Phase 10 until like 11:00 and then we all went to the Blackfoot Fair the next day. It was tons of fun. We went with my mom and Josh and Craig and Bridgette and all the kids. We were there for 6 hours. We were boiling hot and my feet burned by the time we got home. But we had tons of good food!Mmmmm....funnel cakes!!! Adam and Josh got turkey legs that were as big as their heads I swear. It was fun, but by the time we left we were tired. Adam's mom and Rick came over that night and we had dinner with them. We went to bed early and were total lazy butts all day today. We were seriously in jammies until like 4:00! We took a nap and watched t.v., it was pretty pathetic. We did get ambitious tonight though and made some awesome ham and potato soup, and while Adam cleaned up the house I made strawberry/rasberry jam. It's just freezer jam, but it's sooo good! Anyhow... here's some pictures of the kids!

This was our big group just trying to make it through the fair still together! We lost a few people a couple times, even one of the kids! But Kynden was just with Adam! Scared us all for a minute though. So we made the kids hold hands. Aren't they cute?

Mady and Daddy at the petting zoo!

Noah loved the horses! He's so stinkin cute! He gets excited over such simple things! He's easy to please; and he was a pretty good sport since it was such a long day and it was so hot.

Mady and Kynden had fun riding the few rides they were tall enough for!

Adam and Josh riding on a ride that would have made me lose all my good, hard earned fair food! No way.

Well, not this week but next week, Mady starts school and dance. I'm very excited for her because it is so good for her. She does so well with the teachers and she seems to learn so much. She also loves it and talks about it all day so it will be good for her. I still feel like I've been working too much, but I did get put on call tonight and I have hopes that it will slow down soon! Other then that... we are all doing great!

Crazy kiddos

So just some updates on us and the kids. I feel like a blog slacker; we've been so busy trying to cram in the last of our summer! - The kids are doing great. Mady is so excited to start "school" next month. She starts pre-school and already the other day she got her coat and back pack and said, "Go blue car? School?" I'm excited for her because she does so great. I also get 2 hours, 3 days a week with only 1 child! It will be nice to get some things done in town for sure. I'm also putting her in a little dance class with my friend JaLayns little girl Jada. I think she will love it. I'm just scared for the poor teacher who has to try and keep her attention. :) It's only 30 minutes, thank goodness. It surprises me every day how much of a little girl she is and how much she ISN't a baby anymore. I feel like discipline is a daily occurance with her. I swear she will be that child that just tests the boundries. But she can be such a fun girl too. One thing she said recently that was so funny to us was when we were going to Utah. We were coming out of Pocatello and into the mountains and she was so in awe, she said, "Oh mom, look! Mountains! They're bomb digity mountains!" We came around the bend and she said, "Wow! more bomb digity mountains!." She so funny. It's crazy the simple things that entertain them. - Noah is doing awesome. I swear that little boy shocks me every day with the things that come out of his mouth, and the understanding he has of what we say. Maybe he's just normal, but with Mady having such a speech delay it is so crazy to us. He has so much personality. The other day we layed him down for a nap and on the monitor all we could hear is him screaming, "Mom! Mommy! Help me! Mom!" we just sat and laughed. Whenever we ask him questions, it's usually, "No!" unless he wants it, he gets this big goofy smile and says, "K!" He says, "Pease." and "cank you", he's trying to say 'love you' but I don't know that I would give him credit for that yet. He say's "juice, milk, blankie, up and off!" and so many other things. The other day Adam told him to go turn the T.V off, just joking and sure enough, he did it! He throws our garbage away and puts Mady's clothes in the basket. And oh how he is learning to throw fits! ha ha. he throws himself on the floor; lightly though so he doesn't hurt himself and then screams, kicking his feet. If we try to talk to him he'll scream "no!" and then fling himself away. He throws things and hits. And he is all boy. He is like instantly attracted to any sports ball or car in a room. As soon as he picks up a car, its "brmmm brmmmm". He's such a stud! Anyhow.. here's some pictures of them. Hope nothing is too risky!! lol

My 2 cuties!

She just looked like such a big girl.

I've been feeling like doing some things for the house and I wanted some little projects, so I made the kids some magnet boards for their rooms, which they love. I'm not sure I'm done but they're up for now.

So here's my risky pictures! lol. Noah absolutely LOVES to be naked. No joke. The only problem is that he can't walk straight. He can not walk without touching is "stuff", lol. Adam calls it his monkey walk because that's what he looks like. It doesn't matter what he's doing, if that diaper comes off, he's touching it! Adam keeps telling him he'll go blind! We just laugh because its so funny, he can not function without his diaper on, he's WAY too distracted.

The monkey walk!

So Friday night was Jada's birthday party! Happy Birthday Jada! last year they got her 2 pony's and they do pony rides, which Mady loves. This year she wouldn't let us hold on to her, she was a big girl and wanted to ride all by herself. She did great.

She'd do this all day if someone would let her!

Vacation & Summer Fun

This is going to be a long post so I hope everyone has patience to make it through. LOL. We've had a lot going on so I will make the explanations short. 1st-we went to Park City for 5 days and that as tons of fun. While we were down there we went to the Living Planet Aquarium which the kids loved, the Hogle Zoo and Olympic Park. In between we went shopping at the Outlet Mall, ate out and went swimming. It was tons of fun. I think the funnest part is not being home!! Just being somewhere else, not having the worries of every day life and just being able to spend the time with my wonderful husband and kids.
The day we left, my mom was on her way back from picking my little brother Josh up from the Airport. So we met in McCammon to eat lunch. Mady was super excited.

The kids at the Aquarium

The condo, nothing spectacular but much more comfortable then a hotel room, the kids had a bigger area to trash! It was basically like a small apartment with washer/dryer, BBQ etc.. so it was nice to have the kitchen, (saved on food!)

Shopping and hanging out at the condo!

The Zoo; the baby giraffe was just 7 days old.

This monkey came right over to Noah and met his hands up against the glass, Noah thought that was so funny.

Olympic Park, all the times we've been to Park City we've never been there. It was really neat. You can go zip lining or on the bob sleds. Someday when the kids are older it will be tons of fun to take them there.

People were skiing off these jumps into the pool, then they would turn on these jet things that pushed them to the side. It was really neat to watch them do back flips and stuff.

Craig and Bridgettes (soon to be sister-in-law)
We went to their house the other day so she could cut my hair and color my moms. The kids had tons of fun playing. For those of you who don't realize, I have VERY thick hair. So she thinned it and layered it. When I looked at the floor I just about flipped. It's funny though, you can hardly tell when I do it except when its in a pony tail. I can't believe how much time it cuts off from shampooing, drying and straightening. Ahhh... that's nice.

When Adam got off work we came back over for dinner. They have these little choppers and a 4-wheeler that has a chip in it; kind of crazy. But we had tons of fun.

My mom and John even got on them and raced, they were like 2 crazy kids!

Kynden also has a little 4 wheeler of his own. They can control the speed so its perfect for the him and Mady. As we all know, she loves 4 wheelers. Aren't they just the cutest things you've ever seen?

Blessing Baby Kru

Well today Adam's dad blessed his sister's baby, Kru. It went really well and was really neat to hear all the blessings this little guy has to look forward to! Afterwards we had dinner and his parents house, and of course after Mady asking a billion times, we got the 4 wheelers out!

Mady, just cheesin it!

Of course! A trip to grandpa's wouldn't be a complete without a ride! And Mady will bumb a ride from anyone who will take her!

Noah had such a long day, he just couldn't take it anymore. We were on a 4 wheeler ride and realized his head was bobbing around. Poor kid!

Noah just loves his baby Kru; he wanted to share his tiara with him.
